Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh Servant Leadership Fund Scholarship

To qualify for one of the four scholarships, the applicant must:

  1. Complete the scholarship application form.

  2. Submit a three-page minimum essay on one of the following topics: a) The history and legacy of Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh; b) The significance of servant leadership or c) The history and legacy of another servant leader.

  3. Submit two letters of recommendation (one from a current professor).

  4.  Submit a copy of unofficial transcript and, in the case of first-semester transfer students, a copy of the transfer transcript.

  5. GPA of 3.0 or higher for graduate students and 2.5 or higher for undergraduate students.

  6. Demonstration of financial need.

College of Arts and Sciences

The Annual Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh Leadership Fund Scholarship

Two scholarships for undergraduate and/or graduate students majoring in and/or participating in programs offered by the College of Arts and Sciences.

The criteria for this scholarship are as follows:

  1. Complete submission of application on or before the deadline.

  2. Submission of an essay of no less than three pages on a topic such as “the history and legacy of Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh,” or “the importance of servant leadership,” or “the history and legacy of another servant leader."

  3. GPA of 3.0 or higher for graduate students and 2.5 or higher for undergraduate students.

  4. Demonstration of financial need.

The Iranian Heritage Cultural Fund

The criteria for the Iranian Heritage Cultural Scholarship are as follows:

  1. Complete submission of application on or before the deadline.

  2. Students majoring in English, Linguistics, Foreign Languages and Culture, Arts or Music who demonstrate an interest in Persian poetry and/or music. Preference is given in the following order: Students of Iranian descent, international students, all others.
