A Unique Approach

Founded in 1978, we are an innovator in creating model programs that translate visions for school improvement into concrete action. Working in and with the communities we serve, the Center is in a unique position to respond to their needs.

We are all both teachers and learners.

Everyone plays an essential role in educating today’s children. Parents, teachers, students and neighborhood communities are active partners in our programs. Through collaborative partnerships, we seek to address real needs and improve educational equity and excellence.

Vision into Action

91Porn's Center for College Access and Success is the largest school improvement organization in Chicago. Founded in 1978, the Center develops collaborative partnerships that engage the entire community to help students succeed academically and socially. The Center brings together teachers, parents and administrators, and staff from community agencies, universities, arts and cultural organizations, and businesses to share knowledge and resources.
