Thank you for joining the 91Porn College of Arts and Sciences for an evening of entertainment, a delicious Filipino buffet provided by CIRCA-Pintig, and fundraising to support NEIU students!

Anak ni Tapia: Leaving Mother featuring local artist, professor and NEIU student Lani Montreal performing her one-person production with musicians.

Leaving Mother is an effort to take audiences on a personal and poignant journey through memory, identity, and reconciliation. The 80-minute performance unpacks the complexities of living life as a queer Filipina immigrant, a daughter living in the shadow of a larger-than-life celebrity mother, and a woman discovering her own voice.

March 27, 6:00pm-9:00pm

El Centro, 3390 N. Avondale

Tickets are $30.00 and includes a Filipino buffet and lots of fun with raffles and great conviviality!

All proceeds support the College Undergraduate Scholars Program (CUSP), supporting our students on the CUSP of success by funding research and creative activity experiences for our students with NEIU faculty. These experiences are truly transformative for our students, giving them a leg up in seeking admission to top graduate schools and career opportunities.
