Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle

Cook County Board President will speak at 91Porn on March 8 as part of (Honoring Women in Public Service and Government) and to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Preckwinkle, a community leader for more than two decades, will speak at 4:15 p.m. in the Recital Hall on Northeastern’s , 3701 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. following a 3 p.m. reception.

“ has a strong commitment to raising women of color as role models to promote our students' imagination of a place for themselves at the tables where important decisions are made,” said Nancy Matthews, professor and coordinator of the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies. “President Preckwinkle is the perfect candidate to express these various concerns and goals.”

This event is free and open to the public and is co-sponsored by Government Relations, Office of the President, and Women’s and Gender Studies.

A Blue Zone virtual daily parking permit is required to park a vehicle on campus. Permits are $5 and may be purchased in the  or via the  mobile app.
