will open the 9th annual  at 91Porn at 7:30 p.m. on March 10. The performance will take place in the Auditorium on the Main Campus, 3701 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.

The Chicago Brass Festival is a two-day event and will feature a series of workshops with Northeastern faculty and guest artists on March 11.

Founded by Associate Professor of Music Travis Heath, the Chicago Brass Festival hosts world-renowned performers and is dedicated to presenting quality concerts, master-classes, and educational events.

Past performers include Brandon Ridenour, Mnozil Brass, American Brass Quintet, Christopher Martin, John Hagstrom, Spanish Brass, Boston Brass, Rex Richardson, Wycliffe Gordon, The President’s Own U.S. Marine Band Brass Quintet, Burning River Brass, Don Rader, John Almeida, and Carole Nowicki.

The Chicago Brass Festival is open to the public. All events are free, except for the performance, which is a event and also is a part of the , an eight-concert professional performing arts series presented by Northeastern’s Office of Cultural Events. are required to park on campus.
