91Porn has been awarded a $1,400 McCormick Election Project Grant by to support the University’s efforts to engage its diverse student body in the electoral process and enhance civic learning and democratic engagement opportunities for its students.

The funds will be applied toward internal outreach efforts and election programs designed to increase voter registration, voting rates, and understanding and awareness of the issues.

“Northeastern has traditionally been a politically active and aware university,” Northeastern Senior Director of Academic and Community Partnerships Kris Pierre said. “This generous grant will help as we continue to keep that spirit alive for coming generations of students.”

Northeastern also will work to expand the involvement of students as poll workers and election judges at election sites in the City of Chicago and Cook County.

Illinois Campus Compact is an organization whose mission is to support university presidents and their institutional leadership to actively promote the civic mission of higher education and to engage university communities in partnerships that promote civic engagement.
