The ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m. in the courtyard outside of the Angelina Pedroso Center for Diversity and Intercultural Affairs in Building B on the main campus, 5500 N. St. Louis Ave., Chicago. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to charity.

The project is expected to be completed prior to the fall 2015 semester.

“The expansion of our multicultural center is important as we strive to support both women-identified and LGBTQA students,” said Vice President for Student Affairs Frank Ross. “These programs and services will enhance our students’ success and advance intercultural awareness, inclusivity and social justice.”
