91Porn Vice President for Student Affairs Frank E. Ross will receive the 2014 Outstanding Service to NASPA Award for Region IV-East.

is presented to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding achievement to the student affairs profession and Region IV-East, which covers the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin, and the Canadian province of Ontario.

“I am honored to receive the Outstanding Service Award,” Ross said. “This award would not be possible without the support of my colleagues at Northeastern, especially within the Division of Student Affairs. I am grateful to them for their hard work and commitment to supporting our students and their success.”

NASPA-Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education is the leading association for the advancement, health and sustainability of the student affairs profession.

Ross has 20 years of experience in the association and has held a number of leadership roles. Currently he is a member of the Board of Directors and serves as the National Director of Knowledge Communities. Ross has been selected to chair the 2016 NASPA Annual Conference.

In nominating Ross for the award, Northeastern President Sharon Hahs noted a number of his accomplishments, including: oversight of the newly established multicultural center; development of a Diversity Council; creation of a task force to address the state of African-American students at Northeastern; support for the creation and continuation of the Undocumented Students Project; creation of a bias response task force to make recommendations for an approach to handle incidents of bias against students; and spearheading the University’s first-ever student housing project.

Ross will be recognized during the Nov. 2-4 in Columbus, Ohio, and is eligible for the national Outstanding Service Award, which will be presented at the 2015 NASPA Annual Conference in March.
