Hispanic Heritage Month
ǰٳٱ’s month of programming concludes with a bang! On Oct. 14, will deliver a lecture titled “The Struggle for Social Justice Education: Contributions from Paulo Freire and the Pedagogues of Liberation” at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall as part of the Presidential Lecture Series. Then, it’s time to celebrate the Latino/a culture with the annual Noche de Familia featuring live music by Afinca'o at 6 p.m. Oct. 15 in Alumni Hall. Finally, the Brazilian Clarinet Ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the Recital Hall. All events are free!
Clarinet competition
Northeastern will host an on Saturday, Oct. 18. The competition, which will include a variety of groups from across the United States and one from Colombia, will take place in the Auditorium.
