El Centro grand opening
Wow! After years of planning, on Tuesday, Sept. 30. Attended by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin, U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez and many more dignitaries, the grand opening was a huge success. “This building is a symbol of who we are and what we will be,” Durbin said. We completely agree. DCFS Latino Family Institute
Northeastern will host the 26th annual Illinois Department of Children and Family Services on Friday, Oct. 10. The theme for the event is Latinos Matter: Promoting our Identity and Culture in Child Welfare.
