Introduction
To become a licensed K-12 teacher of Spanish, students must:
- Complete the .
- Pass the administered by ACTFL (American Council of Teachers of Foreign Languages) with a score of Advanced Low or above.
- Pass the administered by ILTS (Illinois Licensure Testing System) with a minimum average score of 240.
- Complete a professional education sequence in secondary education outlined in the Academic Catalog.
