I help oversee the El Centro Library and Learning Resource Center. I am a huge fan of outdoor education and late night diners.

Denise is passionate about supporting students in achieving their goals in higher education. She has more than 10 years experience at NEIU, as a former advisor in Proyecto Pa'Lante, recruiter, and now Financial Aid Coordinator at El Centro. She believes that every person's story is valuable and unique, serving as a platform from which he/she can soar to new heights in pursuing a degree at NEIU.

Mimi’s history with NEIU dates back to 1996 when she earned her bachelor’s degree in finance and returned 10 years later for her Master of Business Administration. Soon after earning her MBA, Mimi joined the President’s Office in 2009, serving as the assistant secretary to the Board of Trustees. In 2014, with the opening of its new Avondale location, Mimi became part of the El Centro team, connecting students with the academic support they need to succeed in college. Because she so believed in the NEIU mission, Mimi chose to become a volunteer math tutor, returning to the classroom to study Trigonometry, Calculus and Introduction to Advanced Mathematics.

Fausto has been working at El Centro in IT since 2000. 

I oversee the El Centro administrative suite office. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my kids and baking.

Rebeca Lamadrid-Quevedo, has been part of the 91Porn El Centro team since 2009, becoming the interim director in September of 2022. Along with the El Centro team, she has been working consistently in developing and implementing initiatives in the area of student recruitment and retention with a focus on first-generation students and the Latino community. 

Lizett is a first-generation college graduate and former Chicago Public Schools student. She has many years advocating for post-secondary education and guiding students through the many challenges they face when transiting to college. She wholeheartedly believes the wise words of Nelson Mandela: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

Currently, Maria Luna-Duarte, Ph.D., serves as the Director of 91Porn El Centro. She states, "I have the privilege to be a key stakeholder in the development and implementation of El Centro programs and services."
