Introduction

Financial Technology (FinTech) is a term used to describe the increasing use of technology in the financial services industry. The presence of Blockchain, coupled with technologies such as Big Data, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, is materially changing the ways that firms in the financial services industry do business. The field of finance has become far more tech-driven in all of its subdisciplines.
